Post-industrial copper wire and black cotton warp yarn were hand woven on the TC2 digital jacquard weaving loom using variations of twill diamond, a weaving pattern noted for emphasis on diamond shapes resulting from the crossing of diagonal lines, embedded within repeating elements of geometric shapes and gridlines. Both the composition and the structure of the tapestry are created through the weaving of these repeating patterns. Since the copper wire has an enamel coating which resists corrosion, weaving with the different versions of twill diamond, and raising areas to project slightly above the plane with subtle shapes, utilize its reflective properties throughout the piece and draw similarities to embossed paper or bas relief.

Post-industrial copper wire and black cotton warp yarn were hand woven on the TC2 digital jacquard weaving loom using variations of straight twill, a common weaving pattern based on parallel diagonal lines, embedded within the repeating organic and radial shapes. Through the weaving of these repeating patterns of straight twill and shapes, the composition and the structure of the tapestry are created at the same time. While the areas of woven copper wire and cotton yarn take on the qualities of cloth, the open non-woven spaces exhibit the traits of cut-outs in paper. Since the copper wire has an enamel coating which resists corrosion, weaving with the different versions of straight twill also creates different effects on light and dark values, resulting in areas of reflective vibrance throughout the piece.
